Stewardship: Is Caring for Our Gifts with Purpose
Welcome to our Stewardship Ministry!
Stewardship is an act of faith and gratitude, inviting each of us to recognize the blessings we’ve received and to commit them to the service of our community and God’s work. Our stewardship encompasses time, talents, and treasures, which we dedicate to support our mission, grow our community, and reach out to those in need.
What is Stewardship?
Stewardship is about recognizing that all we have—our resources, skills, and time—are gifts given to us to be managed responsibly and shared with others. It’s not merely about giving; it’s about gratitude and thoughtful care for the resources entrusted to us. Through stewardship, we express our commitment to living purposefully and sustainably, ensuring that our community and planet thrive for generations to come.
How Can You Practice Stewardship?
- Time
Volunteer your time with us. Whether through outreach projects, community events, or supporting our weekly services, there are many ways to give the gift of your time. - Talents
Each person brings unique skills and passions. We encourage you to find ways to contribute your talents—whether it’s through music, teaching, organizing, or any special ability you may have. - Treasures
Financial giving is an essential part of stewardship. Your contributions help us to sustain our ministries, support community programs, and expand our impact. Every donation, large or small, makes a difference.
Why Stewardship Matters
Stewardship empowers us to work together, to be mindful of how we use resources, and to build a legacy of faith and service. Through this commitment, we cultivate a community rooted in generosity, compassion, and responsibility.

Leave things the Way You Found Them |
Summer is the time for vacationing and many people will seek a refuge from the normal routine of their lives by spending time in the forests and wilderness of our great country. What better time to stand in awe of the handiwork of God; the crystal clear mountain streams, the giant redwoods, the breath–taking sunsets. Such sights can only serve to further impress good Christians with the true responsibilities of stewardship.
We must, at all times, remember that we are stewards of the earth and its resources. So, this summer if you come into contact with nature, be a good steward, do your best to leave things in the same wonderful state you find them.
Helping Hands |
Everyone knows about “helping hands.” But have you ever thought about all the different things hands can really do?
Hands reach up to paint, clean, and mend the church. They do the same for the homes of those in need nearby. Sometimes, they even build those needed homes. Hands can greet a visitor with a firm handshake. Or they could learn a little sign language to help make a new church member who is deaf feel more welcome.
Hands can dip into pockets to make contributions to the church. They can also dip into buckets with a sponge to swirl across many car windows to raise more funds. Hands can hold a piece of chalk in the classroom or a piece of music in the choir loft. Even those hands that are clenched are helping. They’re donating blood during a church-sponsored drive.
Surely two of those hands that help belong to someone you know. Maybe they belong to you!
