Event Description
We invite you to join us for our Annual Thanksgiving Worship Service and Community Celebration—a special time to gather, give thanks, and celebrate the blessings we’ve experienced over the past year. This worship service is open to all, providing a space for reflection, gratitude, and connection as we approach the Thanksgiving season. Our goal is to bring our community together in a spirit of joy and unity, offering something meaningful for everyone who attends.

Event Highlights

1. Heartfelt Worship Service
The event begins with a 90-minute worship service in our Main Sanctuary. We’ll share in music, prayer, and a special Thanksgiving message designed to inspire gratitude and reflection. Our worship team has prepared a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary worship music, creating an environment of joyful praise and thanksgiving.

• Message of Gratitude: Our guest speaker, Pastor Michael Hayes, will share a message on the theme of “A Heart of Thanks,” focusing on how gratitude can transform our lives and strengthen our faith.
• Community Prayer of Thanks: As a community, we will have the opportunity to share what we’re thankful for this year. Everyone is invited to participate, either by sharing aloud or by writing down a note of gratitude that will be read during the service.

2. Thanksgiving Potluck and Fellowship
After the service, everyone is invited to our Community Hall for a potluck-style Thanksgiving meal. Bring a dish to share with others, and enjoy a warm, family-style gathering where we can connect, share stories, and celebrate the blessings of friendship and community.

• Food and Fellowship: Savor traditional Thanksgiving favorites alongside international dishes reflecting the diversity of our community. Whether you bring a dish or simply come to share a meal, all are welcome.
• Children’s Activity Corner: To keep our young guests engaged, there will be a Children’s Corner with supervised activities, including crafts, storytelling, and a special “Thankful Tree” where kids can write down what they’re grateful for and add it to the tree.

3. Clothing and Food Drive
In the spirit of giving, we are also holding a Clothing and Food Drive. Please consider bringing non-perishable food items or gently used clothing to donate. All donations will go directly to local shelters and food banks, helping those in need during this holiday season.

• 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Worship Service in Main Sanctuary
• 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Thanksgiving Potluck and Fellowship in Community Hall
• All Day: Drop-off for Clothing and Food Drive at designated area in the hall
